What Skilmore is
Skilmore helps homeschooling families create engaging educational experiences. Parents create the account, add learner profiles, and children take part in live quiz sessions — then you track progress, performance, and achievements. ChaTrivia is our separate live trivia product for adults.
Rooms (chatrooms)
A room is a live learning session. Homeschool rooms are for your family. ChaTrivia rooms are public social trivia for adults. Learners join the environment that matches their account.
How questions appear
Questions surface in the main feed or dedicated quiz panel depending on client configuration. Hosts may queue items, randomise banks, or switch topics live—especially in Skilmore Schools where curriculum alignment matters.
How users answer
Participants tap or click their choice before the timer expires (when timers are enabled). Some flows allow open responses or working in scratch space; the important part is that everyone shares the same clock when competition is active.
Leaderboards & scoring
Points typically reward accuracy and speed within fair bounds. Team modes aggregate individual results; class challenges may compare rooms. Hosts should set expectations about whether scores are formative (for learning) or summative (for marks).
